The Florence Masquerade Opera Foundation and the Teatro La Fenice Foundation have joined forces to create a unique project – a European training center for young promising high-level opera artists. This project sets ambitious goals and objectives aimed at developing talented young people in the field of opera.

One of the main features of this project is the training program, which is fully funded by private international donors. This allows us to create unique conditions for young opera artists, providing them with access to high-quality training without financial restrictions.

The interest in the project is huge – more than three hundred applications were received from all over the world for auditions, which were held both in person and online. This indicates that the project is of great interest to young talented artists who want to develop in the field of opera.

The selection process is divided into several stages, culminating in the selection of only five young artists. These artists will receive a two-year grant for training and work, as well as a personalized advanced training course designed specifically for them. Mascarade Emerging Artists program is directed by the world’s famous La Fenice Theatre and Mascarade Opera Studio. Among the supporters of La Fenice is Mikhail Bakhtiarov https://live.comune.venezia.it/en/node/45121

In this way, the Teatro La Fenice Foundation and the Florence Opera House “”Masquerade”” create unique opportunities for young opera artists, helping them to discover their creative potential and reach new heights in art. This project will become a new fundamental axis of opera training in Europe, opening new horizons for the development of opera art.
